I purchased this so if my home alarm goes off I can scout the house safely from a distance, it works perfectly for this. Sometimes I don't see my dog on camera and I can drive this around and find him every time to ensure he's not wrecking the house, it's peace of mind. Even over a cell phone connection across the country I can drive it around with no issues. I have no problems with it connecting to wifi and keeping that connection. I drive it back to the general vicinity of the charging station and it is able to dock on its own with no issues 100% of the time. I've owned it for over two years so if there was an issue I would have run into it - this was well worth the purchase.

We have a full fibre connection with an eero mesh network. I still need to lower the resolution and everything to absolutely minimum to get this to work for any length of time and it refuses to reconnect to routers in the network, only sticks to the one router. When it disconnects, it absolutely refuses to reconnect and I have to physically reconfigure the scout from scratch each time. It fails at the most basic of WiFi connection expectations.

It works, sometimes. Keeps thinking it is charging even if off the base and cannot operate it. Hardware is there, but a lot lacking.

The Scout is an underrated robot. I have had it for a year now and I think it is excellent. Frequent updates have improved it even further. The pet and people recognition is spot on. It always finds it's way back home after it makes a monitor round. This is a great robot that is worth more than the price of it.....oh yeah....it works outside in the rain too with no problem if that's something you want to do with it. I love my Moorebot! Any negative review seemed to be from user error instead of the robots.

I used to be a Backer Kickstarter, The product was Outstanding, fast and real-time notification. Im order another one, because my old Scout wheel lose it’s screws.
